Translation converts words from one language to another. Localization adapts the entire experience: tone, visuals, cultural context, and underlying assumptions so that it feels natural and trustworthy to the person receiving it. These are not the same thing and conflating them produces materials that are technically accurate and practically useless.

A pharmaceutical company spends years developing a breakthrough treatment. A HUB service builds a robust patient support program around it. A specialty pharmacy stands ready to dispense. And then a patient, confused by a re-enrollment form they didn’t know existed, quietly abandons their medication.
